Club Bylaws
Resumo das regras de funcionamento do Clube dos Lisos. O texto integral será aprovado em reunião dos fundadores e registrado em cartório.
Purpose
To bring together friends and fans of samba, choro, and the rhythms of Pará; to organize jam sessions, concerts, and gatherings; and to honor local artists and preserve the legacy of the masters.
Headquarters
The club does not have its own headquarters. Meetings are held at the founders’ homes, and events take place in spaces that are rented or provided by partners.
Members
Anyone over the age of 16 who accepts these bylaws may become a member. Founding Members are those who joined during the portal’s first year of operation, and this status is permanent.
Membership Fee
Membership is free for the first 12 months. Future dues will be approved at a meeting and communicated at least 30 days in advance.
Administration
The club is managed by the founders, who report to the members once a year. Important decisions are voted on by the members at a meeting.
The Golden Rule
A lack of money will never be a reason for anyone to be left out.
